About the project
This refurbishment of 1 St. Kilda Road set out to modernise a well-located commercial building and bring it fully in line with current building regulations, without disrupting its occupants throughout construction. The scope was broad: new access control systems, automatic entrance and airlock doors, and comprehensive building services upgrades throughout.
Stone tiling, fire-rated partitions and ceilings, custom banquette seating and a new mailbox system were installed across all communal areas. Extensive fire compliance works, including fire doors, seals, wall ratings, new flooring, EWIS and FIP systems, delivered a building that presents and functions as new.
