Screen Media Labs (Swinburne University)

Level 4 of Swinburne University's Applied Science Building was reimagined from a series of separate tenancies into a singular, purpose-built Screen Media Lab. The de-fit of three existing spaces formed the first stage, followed by the construction of a cohesive media and production environment across the entire floor.

New building services were installed alongside acoustic feature ceilings, partitions, bulkheads, doors and bathrooms. Sound and meeting booths were built to acoustic specification, and anti-slip vinyl and cork floor tiling was laid throughout. New lounges and seating areas complete the space, creating a contemporary facility suited to professional-standard teaching and production.
